Actions prohibited during the Ihrám:
While in the state of Ihrám, the pilgrim should not shave,
nor cut his nails, nor wash himself, except for the ritual ablutions related to

commit sin, carnal, nor abandon itself to evil or vice, or to quarrels, or to
acts of violence. God has forbidden these actions in the Koran:
"the pilgrimage takes place in the known months For

discussion, about the pilgrimage."
Regarding dresses, nothing is allowed except, the Izár, the
Ridá 'and the Na'l (or sandal). Thus, a muhrim can not wear a shirt, pants,
gloves, turbans, fez, hat, or any other kind of dress, whether sewn or dyed.
Although women can wear the clothes they want, they can not wear gloves, cover
their faces or wear clothes that have been totally or partially dyed
saffron.
Hunting is also prohibited, whether done in a group or
alone. Nor does the muhrim have the right to accept an animal killed in hunting,
buy it, or eat it. But the Prophet allows to kill dangerous and annoying
animals, and also certain birds; in all, the raven, the hawk, the scorpion, the
rat and the rabid parrot. The ulemas add to this list the lion, the leopard,
the wolf and the serpent.
